Tertius: The Rise of Magic
Long shadowed Tel’Cora, the ancient seat of the elves, remains much a mystery to the people of Foglorn. As the civilizations of humans and halflings pushed west, they came to a land bridge that rose a thousand feet out of the ocean. The peninsula on the other side was covered dense in trees rich with sap, rare barks, and untold flora and fauna of worth, but civilization was turned aside at the bridge by the elves. They had seen the plight they faced, struggling to survive without their psionic masters, and so been allowed to come this far, but no further. It was obvious that any forceful attempt would never survive a defending army as they attempted to gain the land bridge, and so it has remained a natural border between the old world and the new since the beginning of Forlorn.
